I can succesfully set the evalution in the GUI version of GnuBG
(Windows) to utilize 2-ply evalutions (in hints). However,
when I try to do it in command line interface the GnuBG does

I think they produce .mat files now - at least
The import of gammonempire .gam files has some limits, see here
