The latest changes in configure.in introduce a minor problem which shows
up on NetBSD 1.4.1
Testing for objcopy fails with the following messages in config.log:
configure:1588: checking whether objcopy works for absolute addresses
configure:1600: gcc -c -g -Wall -Wmissing-prototypes
