GRUB can boot from "El Torito" cds. Caldera uses grub-0.5.94-5 as the CD
booter in the current OpenLinux 2.4 product.
I'm affraid that GRUB in fact uses floppy emulation provided by BIOS.
I don't think GRUB can boot from CD if boot from CD is disabled in BIOS or
if BIOS doesn't
