We are a small start-up in Vancouver, BC that has decided on CakePHP. Development is underway but still in the early stages. We have currently contracted with an Indian company for development assistance, and things are going OK - but could be better. Skill level of our developer could be higher, the time difference is a pain and the language barrier is a slight (but not huge) complication. The upside is the price is right.
I am interested in talking with some contractors who have developed in CakePHP before several times for NON trivial projects and would classify themselves as "expert" developers. I am interested in creating a relationship with a remote contractor for a full-time project that will last several months and possibly much longer if things work out.
