My mistake, I misread your post. The inputs in 3.0 do not contain the model
name unless ypu put it there. In 2.x formhelper would automatically prefix
fields, which is whst it sounds like you are expecting. This prefixing was
removed as it didn't add much value and the new orm does not need the

Aliasing the connection makes it much harder to access the regular default
connection as whenever you ask for it you get the admin connection instead.

has syntax similar to jinja and django. It also has automatic escaping which is
a key feature if you are going to use a templating library. You should be able
to find a few view classes that add twig support to cakephp

didn't really help developers that much. Instead of keeping code that is
only useful sometimes to small number of people with very specific use
