Benjamin Freeman saw an Eared Grebe yesterday at Stewart Park. It was ca. 30
feet away from shore, near the small dock in the middle of Stewart Park,
swimming near three Redhead and bunches of Mallards.

Hi all,
This afternoon, Hope Batcheller and I took a quick trip up to Montezuma,
with the primary goal to track down Kevin's Purple Gallinule, but also just
to see what was around. We started at the MNWR Visitor Center pond, where
there were hundreds of Canada Geese, DUNLIN, 2 WHITE-RUMPED

Seen from Aurora boathouse: Many RB Gulls, 1 GBB Gull, 1 C Loon, many C. Geese.
Lake was very rough. Worse yesterday.
Myers Cove (North of the creek outlet, Salt Point maybe?? I don't know what
it's called) 10 or 12 Mallards, 3 WW Scoters, 2 C Loons, 2 juv. B. Eagles, many

Nate Senner just reported a Clay-colored Sparrow off of Freese Road,
northeast Ithaca. It was along the west side of the more southern of the
corn fields on Freese Road - the corn field by the pond at Liddell Labs. The
bird was by itself, and moving south.
