[cayugabirds-l] Hudsonian Godwit with a very straight bill

Among the snipe, pipits and many shorebirds at Montezuma yesterday was a godwit in adult winter plumage. We had excellent looks and took a raft of photos that we can share with anyone interested. We had an ID problem with this bird as the bill appeared absolutely straight much as one would see

Hi all, After long time I took a walk around in Mundy wildflower Garden. As expected, I did see a few Golden-crowned Kinglets with locals, but no Yellow-rumps. I was glad to see some fall colors too, I thought I had missed it this year. A monarch was heading southeast in this windy weather.
