Work was slow today, so I managed to quit while there was still daylight, and even hiked to the lake before dark. The KING EIDER was still there, initially in the mouth of Cayuga Inlet diving close along the west side of the white lighthouse jetty, but at dusk swimming near some COMMON MERGANSERS
