We were enjoying several displaying woodcock last night and figured we had about
five in a small area. As we were walking up the road, one timberdoodle flew at
head
height across the road immediately in front of us and settled in a field. Never
heard peenting from that one and assume it was a
RED-BREASTED MERGANSER male, East Shore Park.

Hi all,
A WILSON'S SNIPE is currently feeding along the shore on the west end of
the George Road pond. Also present are Killdeer, Green-winged Teal,
Northern Shoveler, Ring-necked Duck, Bufflehead, Pied-billed Grebe, Eastern
Meadowlark, and. A single Tree Swallow.

Since Janet said the wildlife drive was partially open, I went to Montezuma.
The eagle is at her nest at Mud Lock, and though I could not see any, she acted

of Snyder and Mohawk Roads before listening for Woodcocks. On the pond I saw 50
RING-NECKED DUCKS, 3 HOODED MERGANSERS, 1 GREAT-BLUE HERON, 2 WOOD DUCKS, and
