At 6:15 tonight I went about 100 yards down Rt. 79 from my house above
Mecklenberg to a wide open field and heard this year’s first Woodcock. Only
one. For the last 5 years I've lived here, they have been very reliable to be

The first 2020 record of Sandhill Crane for the Cayuga Lake Basin of which I’m
aware was on 4 March at Knox-Marsellus Marsh from East Rd in Tyre reported by
David Kennedy. (Please anyone who has information on any earlier record, let
me know, so I can correct the record on the Cayuga Bird Club
Just had an arrival of Song Sparrows. I can also hear them singing. Yesterday
I had my FOS Turkey Vulture. I’ve seen more today.

Not my sighting, but a report that came to the Audubon FB page of 3 Sandhill
cranes seen from the end of Morgan Rd by the DEC buildings in Savannah. First
