A bird of prey on an Osprey Platform is not necessarily an Osprey. This past Tuesday (22 Feb) I took photos of the platform at Union Field in Ithaca’s Cass Park occupied by a Red-tailed Hawk. Please, whenever you are surprised by the presence of a bird which might be out of its usual season
