There is ample parking along the north (right) side of Ross Road. Please
don’t block the driveway.

Hi local birders,
The Cayuga Bird Club is looking to host a Peregrine watching event at
Taughannock Falls on Memorial Day Weekend. The idea is to have
volunteers with scopes pointing at the peregrines to share with
passers by, with some explanation of the history of Peregrines at
Taughannock.
Folks are welclme to come visit to see the Blue Grosbeak, maybe 8:00 AM to
7:00 PM.
107 Ross Rd, Lansing.

Yesterday afternoon amid the first songs of the House Wren and the spring
start-up of lawn mowers here in the village of Trumansburg, I heard a
singing Yellow-billed Cuckoo in the woods along the western side of Bradley
Rd. Seems early. Pieplow in Peterson's guide translates it as "kow, kow,
kow"
The Blue Grosbeak is back again this morning. Earlier it made a number of
visits to the sunflower seed feeder at the front of the house, but it
hasn’t been there recently.
