One of the most cooperative Shrikes I've seen in the county. I initially
saw it at noon in an unsuccessful pursuit of a single Snow Bunting and both
remained visible from Landon Rd for most of the 20 minutes I was there.

lingering immature Snow Goose along Stevenson Rd which has been there for
the last couple weeks. It's hanging out with the Canada's in the flooded
areas of the horse pasture.

I think many people have heard that Jeff Gerbracht and I saw a Tufted Duck
at Hog Hole, Ithaca NY today. Here are my checklist notes from eBird along

I drove by there at lunch and the shrike was sitting very cooperatively on
the wires. Also just N of East Shore Park is a large raft of Redhead with
a few other species mixed in, including at least 1 Greater Scaup.

While unsuccessfully trying to turn lake debris into Red Phalaropes this
afternoon, I did find a late Orange-crowned Warbler foraging with a flock
of Yellow-rumps at the Swan Pen, Stewart Park. Kevin McGowan refound the
