Just got word of Larue and Jackie's weekly survey. Among a handful of other shorebirds at Montezuma, they report an AMERICAN AVOCET at Puddler Marsh off of Towpath Road this morning. Other birds of note include a Bonaparte's Gull and two Sandhill Cranes at Puddler, a Peregrine at Tschache, and a few yellowlegs and peeps at Mays Point.
