I saw my first-of-the-season ICELAND GULL, a pale immature, either a first- or second-winter, on the compost piles at Stevenson Road. I did not see my hybrid black-backed (though it was there yesterday), and no other gulls of note. Myers Point was quite deserted this morning. Iceland photos:

My first-of-season ICELAND GULL, a pale 1st-cycle, was on the compost piles off Stevenson Road in Dryden this morning around 11:00. It flew up when most of the gulls did and did not return to the piles again while I was there. I didn't seen any other gulls out of the ordinary. The various Lesser

An intermediate 1st cycle ICELAND GULL was on the compost piles at Stevenson Road this morning. Yesterday, two different observers reported a lightly colored Iceland and an Iceland on the slightly darker side of 'typical' a few minutes apart, so it remains to be seen if more than one bird is
