With only a few hundred individuals left in the wild, the Philippine Eagle is also one of the most endangered species on the planet. Isolated to just a few islands in the Philippines, the fate of this majestic bird is under constant threat from escalating deforestation and hunting pressure. Dennis Salvador is the Executive Director of the Philippine Eagle Foundation and he will be discussing the status of the species, the threats it faces, and the conservation efforts that are underway.
