Birded from sunrise to sunset today. My goal was to see shorebirds, the ibis
and anything else up around Montezuma.
However, I totaled up my species count today and was surprised that I had 111
species!!! I spent little time
in woodland habitat except for brief times driving through the woods
I arrived at Montezuma Wild Refuge around 1:45 P.M. today. The visitor's
center goose population doubled from yesterday. As I was searching for the
GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, Canadas kept arriving. I would say at least
2000+ Canada Geese. After finding the Greater White-fronted Goose, I
