Leigh and I and two visiting birders had a birdy morning around sapsucker
woods, with a ruby-crowned kinglet showing off its red crown, first seen by the
Charlie Harper bench and working its way into the woods. That same corner stand

We had our FOY Saturday morning here, a very perky male. Radar through
Sunday AM looks like we were descended upon! Hope the rain hold off for
a bit as there should be many new birds.

RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS flitting about and vocalizing up in our scotch
pine. Saw them at 8:00am. Perhaps they dropped in after migrating over
night. We also had a HERMIT THRUSH show up yesterday evening. It was

Hi all,
Last night we returned from 10 amazing days in Colombia, where I saw many of

There was one RUBY CROWNED KINGLET in the hemlocks at the azalea garden
behind ADWhite House at around 1:15. He came in very close, and provided
very good views of his red crest when I played audio (just once :-)) from

Wow -- nice find . Another bird I missed on the CBC -- undoubtedly hunkered
down somewhere in the area and not responding to my pishing in the wind..

To continue my string of late-lingering December birds, the RUBY-CROWNED

Walking through mixed woods between Tompkins Community Hospital and
the Black Diamond Trail this afternoon I came upon a Ruby-crowned
