Also we had a pair of long tailed ducks (along with the Eurasian Wigeon) on Saturday at the Refuge, and there is a new eagle nest (discovered by volunteer, Allyan Paul). We think the Spillway birds have moved. As you approach Benning Marsh, look into the woods on your right. Can't miss it. Also

I just got a call from Reuben Stoltzfus taking his first trip of the year around the Wildlife Drive. If you are up that way, pay particular attention to Benning Marsh, because that’s where he saw Greater Yellowlegs, Lesser Yellowlegs, and Dunlin. Also keep an eye out along the Wildlife Drive
