The upper airs were contrary, but wispy clouds at lower levels were moving in a favorable direction, so I decided to watch the West Danby sky for a while at lunchtime. There was a modest flight of migrating hawks, including 1 kettle of eight Broad-winged Hawks (it's not too late), 1 adult
