Kathy Strickland & I got to see them on our way home from the lab meeting just 
as we topped the hill coming up from Lansing. I drove up Emmons Rd. to get away 
from car lights. Absolutely fabulous. Best  in years.

  Oh, Meena!  Thanks so much for the sky alert!  We rushed right out and in 
spite of suburban lights and many trees, a terrific broad streak of deep pink 
stretched overhead and lasted a few minutes before fading.  A great sighting.
