A Laughing Gull just landed on the spit. It looks like probably a different
bird than has been at the south end. But it might just be wet.

Stuart reports that both birds are still there as of now (9:37). We
also had a Greater Yellowlegs, Hooded and Common mergansers, and not
too much else. Could be a good day for other things to drop in to wait
out the rain, so frequent checks of Myers, Stewart, Hogs Hole, and any
