I saw the Rufous quite a bit Sunday and briefly today. So, he’s still
here. I’ll keep you posted.
On Monday Bill Watson and I visited Knox-Macellus and saw, among the numerous
Canada Geese and Ring-billed Gulls, 2 Blue phase plus 6 Snow Geese.
Additionally were Sandill Cranes, an immature Eage on the Mud Flats and 3
Trumpeter Swans. On Towpath Road we found Tony Shrimpton with his scope on

It was birdy out there this morning, by October standards. Lots of
Ruby-crowned Kinglets and White-throated Sparrows, smaller numbers of
Blue-headed Vireos and Golden-crowned Kinglets, one Winter Wren. I also had
a small influx of warblers this morning, with a NORTHERN PARULA at the

Dave Nutter and I went to Montezuma and Savannah today. Highlights are as
