Greetings. This morning in Newfield, we had a male Eastern Towhee at the

This was yesterday evening between 5:15-5:30pm, from the front porch of our
apartment. We were observing the birds across our street, in the backyards
of houses bordered by Hudson, Pleasant, and Prospect St.
We heard a very fast, high pitched Ki-ki-ki-ki-ki-ki- (thought woodpecker
at first).
We have a Fox Sparrow foraging in the front lawn today as well as 3 Turkeys
displaying for many hens. At one point the males were strutting down the
middle of the street in full display on Burns Rd in Brooktondale.

Carolina Wrens can be heard to sing at almost any time and quite amazingly
they seem to have survived this brutal winter, at least the ones I know
about did. Perhaps the one that has been at the Lab of O feeders is the
one that now sings a ringing song on the north side of the building for
the
I have had one Carolina Wren here all winter, and lately have been seeing two
at once, at my feeder railings. I have heard their songs a lot over the months.

Hi all,
I have been seeing fairly large pieces of plastic bags/ sheets in the American

A phoebe arrived this a.m. Will it stay? None stayed here last year. Two

Just heard an Indigo Bunting singing as I got out of my car a few minutes
ago. It was in an overgrown field next to my house just south of Interlaken
