You had better luck than me, Steve. I did go up for about an hour at 12:30 and did not have a single bird flying — not even a local Red-tail. Small flock of SNOW BUNTINGS and HORNED LARKS at the east end of Mt. Pleasant Rd. and a RAVEN calling somewhere to the west. Overly optimistic I guess!

A single female redpoll has been hanging around our feeders (Trumansburg, right in the village). She's comfortable on the ground/snow. Doesn't flee until I get very close, and then doesn't fly very far. I can't tell if she's sassy and unafraid, or if she's ill. Been around for a week or two.
