May 6th evening—David saw our first E. Kingbird insect foraging on edges of the
Hile School Rd Wetland/Marshes, along with Tree Swallows, at least.
May 2—I had a Spotted Sandpiper skipping about on high points, near the road as
it crosses. Water very high. Beavers keep rebuilding after
Heard one of my favorites, an Eastern Kingbird, over my house in
Brooktondale this morning.

Yesterday there was an E. Kingbird hawking insects from atop one of our nest
boxes. The box's current occupants are Tree Swallows, but there appeared to
be no conflict. We have not seen the Kingbird again.
