For the second Saturday morning in a row, I have had a Cooper's Hawk in the back yard. Last week s/he simply did a fly-by, but this morning s/he lit in the Blue Spruce and had a good look around. All the feeder birds had fled, so no breakfast was had by the interloper and I got a decent look at the predator. I've had predation in the past, but not recently.
