and Tripphammer, just reported a bunch of snow geese landing in the
farm field just south of their subdivision.

[cayugabirds-l] Snow Geese over Lansing NY this s morning

2024-01-05 Thread Patrick L. McDonough
Hello All and Happy New Year!
On the early morning walk today I saw 100's of Snow Geese flying northwest over
the Lake and Lansing. I posted a photo and video on my Instagram page
(@patlmcd) if you would like to see them; I have never seen this many flying
overhead.
Have a great day and get ready for the snow this weekend, too.
Pat

100s of thousands in large rafts before 8 AM this morning in Cayuga L off
Lansing Station Rd.
Also 1000s Canada Geese in loose flocks swimming & flying & various ducks ,
including 5 Red Breasted Mergs reported by Sarah Blodgett in her cove.

Most Snow Geese flew away, but one small raft remains to north of 600#s houses.
