Actually the one thing that really confused me is that the candidate pc had 2
NICs on it, and I thought it was like our practice labs where one couldn’t be
changed and was only for our local access, and the other one was for connecting
and testing. Actually, you can use your main interface and
Congrats ! Its indeed a worthy achievement..

Kevin, A big congrats! You have given me some hope, after trying the lab
and seeing so many of my fellows fail, I was starting to doubt if v4 was
passable or not at this time. Now back to studying hard for me!!!
Any thoughts on the difference in your lab experience between RTP and San
Jose?
Ayaz
Gents,
It is with great pleasure that I can tell you I've passed my CCIE Security
Lab on Tuesday in RTP. It has been a very difficult year both personally and
professionally to prepare for this exam. This was my third attempt. For
study, I leaned very heavily on IPExpert's
Thanks Ayaz,
Regarding the differences between RTP and San Jose, there are no biggies.
The lab presentation is the same in both locations, you get a bit of a
longer lunch in San Jose but you have to walk a ways to the lunch area so
that's why. You still have plenty of time to eat and/or think
Congratulation!

Does anyone know if we can use the candidate PC for testing/configuration
purposes?
If so, is it recommended to do so or not, can you break anything?
Thanks!

You can move the PC back and forth between the VLANs as you need. Just
remember to put it in the correct VLAN at the end.

Hi,
Its pretty stupid question but I can find a way to see syslog msgs that I
sent to ISE.
as far as I know its like normal syslog server but on udp 20514.
from show logs on ISE cli I just can see ISE logs itself not the one that
its been sent to it.
Any idea ?
