The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a Post-doctoral
Research Assistant to carry out molecular biology, crystallography,
biophysical and structural analysis of voltage-gated sodium channels,
including complexes with potential drugs, to examine their functional
roles in disease.
This is an ongoing project in the group led by Professor B.A Wallace,
which has already produced several high profile publications in the subject.
This research programme is funded by a grant from the BBSRC. Further

Applicants should have a PhD in Structural Molecular Biology,
Crystallography Biophysics or a related area, including relevant
publications. The post is available to candidates with suitable
experience in the area, either with or without postdoctoral research
