Arghh, system-config-securitylevel had security enabled. So what does that do
to start iptables? That was a lot of wasted time :)
chkconfig iptables off

Hello,
I am running centOS 4.3 and my cups print server suddenly
stopped working, now when i reboot the server it hangs a
time starting the cups service and when finally the system
boots up, everything remains in the queue but not printing
at all. Strange thing is all the print jobs appears

I have created a custom kernel as I needed to add floating point
emulation to the kernel.
I used the command below to create my initrd:
mkinitrd --preload=ohci-hcd --preload=uhci-hcd --preload=ehci-hcd
--preload=ext3 --preload=jbd --preload=scsi_mod --preload=sd_mod
--preload=ata_piix
