Hi everyone.
This isn't specifically a CentOS question, since it could apply for
any distro but I hope someone can answer it anyway.
I took the following steps but was puzzled by the outcome of the test
at the end:
1. Create a RAID1 array called md3 with two 750GB drives
2. Create a RAID1
Hi,
I'm currently fiddling with protecting sections of a website with
.htaccess. Here's an example:
Files .htaccess

deny from all

AuthUserFile /etc/httpd/htpasswd
AuthName L'accès à ce site est restreint.
AuthType Basic
require valid-user
The configuration works

The configuration works OK (after having created a valid user), but
unfortunately, the message in the infobox that pops up on the site
displays the french characters é and à incorrectly.
Any idea how I could get this right? I'm more or less starting out from

Is there someone successfully running memcached-1.4.1 on Centos 4 with

Apache's default httpd.conf.
I don't know how to fix your issue but I would run tcpdump
and see what apache is actually sending, to rule out the browser
being the problem rather than the server.

Hi,
I set up a webserver with Apache on one of the machines on the local
network. There's a DNS configured for the LAN, with a dummy domain name
(presbytere.local), and every machine is pingable by its hostname. The
webserver runs on the machine 'buildbox'.
The webserver actually has two

But that doesn't work out (yes, I restarted httpd :oD), because I think
what's missing here is that I have to somehow add microlinux.buildbox

just add a record
microlinux.buildbox IN A #.#.#.#

That gives me a partial success. I added my two virtual hosts to the DNS
server, like this:
babasse A 192.168.1.1
buildboxA 192.168.1.2
lifebookA 192.168.1.3

Only the shorter form doesn't work, which means

to be called by their fully qualified domain name.
Yeah that sounds good, myself

Does anybody know where I can find a driver for a Logitech E2500 webcam.
I'm running CentOS 5 on my desktop and want to add a webcam for skype
use. If I can yum install a driver from one of the repos that would be
great.
