Does anyone know why when I run the following command, I get thousands of
packages in the output, saying they've been excluded?
[root@server yum.repos.d]# yum --security check-update | less

something went wrong and I didn't know from where.
- uninstall vmware (removed to virtual adapter)
- reinstall package with route and ping and glibc
- test with original kernel and own vanilla
nothing helps.
Laptop by my side has same software stand no problem at all

assuming your server has room for more drives and sata or sas ports,
sure.physically add the disks, use mdraid to put them in a mirror or
raid5/6 or

based solutions.
Can't really find one I like.
Would it be possible to add a couple HDs to my existing 6.8 server and set
them up as RAID drives? If so, how would I keep it from mirroring the
system
Under CentOS 6 I could run the command:
/usr/bin/import -window root screen.png
to get a screen capture - worked great.
On CentOS 7.2.1511
when I run the above command I hear beep beep
and the resulting screen.png is just black.
Two questions:
1) how can I get the screen shot?

Did you `tcpdump` with the -nn option? If not than tcpdump was probably doing
