display further messages in tty3. Any
idea?
It worked for me, but I do not use dialog...
Did you check that dialog does indeed exit?
Did you try to run the script by hand

I'm trying to customize a CentOS installation cd, but got
trouble with kickstart.
I want to use dialog[1] for command line based
user interface, but it can't display correctly in kickstart with CentOS 5.5.
Same ks file works with CentOS 5.3

I use 'chvt 3' in ks file to switch to 3rd tty, but it stays in 1th tty

r...@xxx:yum --releasever=13 upgrade
这个命令我尝试了的确可以的,分享给大家...
This is not the fedora mailing list...
And where did you get the --releasever option from?

How about pkill?
Don't remember coming across
that one before. I'll have to remember it! :)
There's also killall, which has other options that might be usefull (wait, ...).

On Centos-5.3, is it possible to capture
an interrupt when the reset button on the Supermicro Box is pressed ?
Google says to check /etc/acpi/events/... maybe it can do what you want.

Is that one of those WD drives that falsely

From the Scorpio blue specs, if I divide the capacity by the number of
sectors, I get 512...
