OS uses it)?
And why not BIOS shows all the NIC devices detected ? (because
ifconfig -a shows eth0/eth1/eth2/eth3 for me with eth3 MAC is:
00:15:17:EB:AE:A5. I could not see eth3 MAC address in the above BIOS
output).
Thanks for your time.

Sri

Group,
My linux box, running with Centos-5.5, is showing up (??) a pseudo
network interface for Eth0.
On Switch where my Eth0 is connected, observed 2 MAC-Addresses.
If a DHCP server present in LAN, the second pseudo interface is
picking up a DHCP IP Address too.
Furthermore you can ping both

Two more observations: (adding to my previous below email)
1) Centos 5.6 also showing the same ACPI errors as in CentOS 5.5
2)BIOS-E820 map has a difference in the first line: (0001
instead
.
Not sure this is why ACPI's root table is not able to find.
Any comment/suggestion/pointers are really needed/appreciated.

Hi,
Am trying to build SMP kernel.
Took kernel-2.6.18-194.src.rpm, extracted, rpmbuilded with SMP option.
Successfully compile the new kernel and when using that kernel to boot up,
following errors were shown up(highlighted in bold red color):
My kernel config file has ACPI and PCI configs
Hi
I want to use 2.6.18-194.el5-PAE kernel source code.
Unable to find it over web.
Appreciate any pointers for that.
Thanks,
