Hi,
I've installed Centos 6.2 x86_64 on a DELL E6520 and nearly everything
works just fine. The only problem is that the system hangs after
entering reboot. I can see that several services get stopped, but
after some seconds the screen is just black and nothing happens
anymore. The weird thing is

Hi,
the latest upstream version of samba rpms for 5.2 is
samba-3.0.28-1.el5_2.1. In the Centos 5.2 updates tree there is only
samba-3.0.28-0.el5.8 which also is already part of the 5.2 os tree.
Could it be that the updates tree just carries the wrong rpms?
Best regards,

Hi,
I'm running a Centos 5.1 server that uses saslauthd to allow sendmail
SMTP relaying for some clients. saslauthd is configured to use method
shadow to lookup the username / password directly from /etc/shadow.
This setup has been working for several month now, but is broken since
last Monday. I

Hi,
the C5 updates to openoffice.org-2.0.4-5.4.26 are available on the
mirrors, but no announcement has come through the centos-announce
mailing list yet.
Also, upstream has released gnome-screensaver-2.16.1-5.el5_1.1 and
gnome-screensaver-2.16.1-8.el5 (FasTrack channel) beginning of April.
Hi,
since the start of the daylight savings time my server has a problem
with the log files. Sunday night the log files get rotated correctly,
i.e. /var/log/messages gets /var/log.messages.1, /var/log/messages.1
get /var/log/messages.2, ... The problem now is that after log
rotation new messages

Hi,
the last released autofs update for Centos 5 is version
autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.55.el5.1. On 2007-12-20 upstream released version
autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.55.el5.2.
As several other updates were released in the meantime maybe the
autofs update has been overlooked?
Best regards,
Bernd.

Hi,
could it be that the libexif update to 0.6.13-4.0.2 for Centos5
somehow got forgotten? The updates for Centos4 were released nearly
two weeks ago. In the meantime also lots of other updates showed up
for both Centos4 and Centos5, but still no libexif update for Centos5.
