Hi Tony,
I've installed CentOS7 on a Latitude 7470 and can say for a fact
that most of the suff just works, while some of it that doesn't (like HDMI,
or KMS, nifty little feature I like to have) works with an Elrepo LT or ML
kernels.
Personally, I'd recommend the LT kernel. I also read in

The page is still being reviewed/edited by myself and could use
'polishing', but again, your feedback is always more than welcome and
even desired!

In that case you should rebuild the RPM from the latest sources from
Broadcom and src.rpm from ELrepo and you'll find the chip working again.

So, following the manual step by step should get you there, Johan. Also,
make sure you use NetworkManager instead of network service with your
WiFi - if the driver turns out to be working, this will save you some
time and nervs.

Hi folks,
as some of you probably know, there's been some input lately from the
community in regard to the aforementioned Wiki page.
I temporarily got my hands on a piece of hardware equipped with BCM4311
so I can test the latest driver - and came to a conclusion that it
doesn't work at all -
to the bottom of it) - and I think at least I
got even.
Having said that, I would really appreciate if you could review the
article, got back to me with your findings, and if the content from this
source could find it's way into this fine Wiki article of yours :)
Kind regards,

Hi all,
consider the manual completed. It's still only published as a draft on
my CentOS Wiki homepage
http://wiki.centos.org/MilosBlazevic?action=show
so I was hoping for some additional critical input and comments (if you
find any typos, anything I missed, suggestions ...) before actually
the developers will certainly much better
explain, especially since ELrepo developers are engaged in this
discussion. Also, I myself was under the impression that Phil
(NedSlider) considered thoroughly the option of building and .rpm for
this driver.
