"Thread Drift" - is that like Plate Tectonic Drift of the continents? ;-) (You can

My experience is first spend money on RAM upto 512 or 1024 Mb. Two slower processors
are more bang for the buck
than 1 fast one. Faster hard drives with RAID can also help. Only then worry about the
