Hello All, I have a verity collection which I have deleted via cfAdministrator, the collection appears to be removed but when I check the file structure the folders still remain, I have tried to manually remove the folder which has worked in the past. However I keep getting a 'cannot delete file

Try not using CFX. You have the jar so create the objects you need and call the methods. If you need need to nornal java source use a Java Web Service and pass objects to it with WDDX if necessary. I don't know of advantage of using CFX over createObject(). If you know of any please advise.

Well first createObject will let you know if its a class/java seeing issue. The runtime logs are the best place to review errors. It seems like its a CFX problem and not a java problem. And its better to load all your class from one location over the net so your upgrades can happen a lot faster

Rick, I'm pretty sure you must have Acrobat Reader to view a PDF document. They could post the MS Office documents to to their site. MS has readers for Excel, Word and Powerpoint available on their site. You could also suggest FlashPaper since just about everyone has flash installed

I just tried a similar thing and it worked. Try removing the query values (#value_[0-9]#)... Just do the XML tag structure. See if it still errors out. If not, then it's probably a data issue. Try wrapping the query values in XmlFormat(). .. Ben Nadel Certified Advanced
