compile time. ACF does not!

Hi Paul,
next to the tool you're using (which I use myself as well) Railo allows
you to turn of scope cascading which would then result in runtime errors
and force the programmer to scope all unscoped variables (except for the
variables scope). Next to the readability this as we all know
operation tags, since Railo takes care of all the necessary file
operations. (cffile, cfdirectory, cfinclude, createObject() etc.)
So when you want to move from windows to *nix, just turn the case
sensitivity for the used file system off...

I disagree a little on that. Since if you store the password in the CF
admin, every application on the server can access the datasource with
the necessary rights. Whereas when you use username and password inside
cfquery, at least the different web applications can not access all
datasources

I guess you can stick to td's if you get rid of your biggest problem.
The number of records returned. If you reduce them, the rest is
irelevant, since it will then be only a matter of milliseconds...

Railo 1.1 is MX 7 compatible. Meaning that Apps running on MX7 will run

Well its right there... 35000 result records. Honestly Ismail, who reads
line 17414 when the report has 50 pages?
That CF uses so much time to output it and retrieve it from the
resultset is clearly understandable. Try narrowing it down.
Railo is much faster in generating such output, but I
I guess they are part of the CFFM file manager of Rick Root...

around only 20ms per file... Before it was around 200ms...
