This is a problem with the mod_jrun20.so that comes standard in MX. It's
not compatable with CFMX. Supposedly if you run the CFMXupdater it will
fix it (See Tech Note:
http://www.macromedia.com/v1/handlers/index.cfm?ID=23162) .
I had the same problem - and am still fighting it, so I can't say
We've got redhat 7.2 installed on Apache 1.3.22 and have having some
performance issues with Cold Fusion MX (as soon and we get more than 3-4
users, everything tanks it. - 30 page render times) .
Is anyone else having some of the same issues? Looking at the boxes, we
have about 70 threads opened
I messed up and set the initial heap stack too high in CFMX. Not the java
server won't start up. Does anyone know where the heap stack variable are
stored so that I can manually go in and set the value to a lower amount? I
can't do this in the admin tool because CF won't start up. Any help
I've downloaded the trial release of Dreamweaver MX, but can't find the copy
of Homesite+ which is supposted to be installed with it. Is Homesite+ not
installed with the trial? Just trying to see if it'll be a good replacement
for Studio.
Thanks,
Randy
I'm thinking of advancing my skill set into the Java realm and have been
thinking of taking Macromedia's Java for Web Developers course. I've been
doing CF for almost 7 years now, but was not a hard core programmer before
that. So my OO background isn't the greatest. Has anyone taken this
I haven't looked to see if this is documented anywhere, but thought I
comment on it so everyone won't do the same dumb thing.
In CF Admin under mappings, if you click on a mapping to edit, erase the
name and the mapping, with the intent to modify it, and then change your
mind and click delete
I'm on the digest version of the list (a few too many emails for me to track
otherwise), so I get everyone's comments all at the same time. Because of
that, I'm not including any snippets from other messages -too many.
The new list for open source sounds great. I just signed up.
It's open
I'd be interested. I've only been doing CF for about 5 or 6 years, but may
be able to help a little. I've built a couple of micro content management
systems, but nothing portable like phpnuke. It'd be really great to see
something open source like. I built one system using Spectra, only to
Thanks Judi and David. I combined both of your suggestions to get it
working. I ended up with:
INPUT TYPE=Text NAME=DiaFt SIZE=20CFIF
IsDefined(EditEntry)CFOUTPUT QUERY=equipitem
VALUE=#Replace('#Diaft#', '', 'quot;', 'ALL')#/CFOUTPUT/CFIF
The double quote was lost in the INPUT tag,
I'm trying to put a value into an input tag and am coming up with a minor
problem. The value returned by the query is a meaurement like 12'3. The
problem comes when the HTML tag is evaluated, it assumes the after the 3
is the closing quote and doesn't display it. Anyone know a way around
