Do I need listserv?

Hello, My company sends out a weekly digest to about 10,000 site subscribers who can opt-in/out from their profile on the site. Do I need to employ a listserv package for this, or would CFMAIL suffice? I really don't want to get another box to run a mailer. We currently use MessageMedia, but
