Changing the case of the actual template file names fixed it. Changing the

Yeah, the 'n' in 'and', and the fact that you put your CFSET in the
wrong place. You can put your CFSET outside the CFSWITCH (but still
inside the loop), or inside a CFCASE/CFDEFAULTCASE inside the
CFSWITCH, but not directly inside the CFSWITCH.

I got it working! Turns out that the problem was because
I had no filter specified. I put the filter in and that
sped things up. I guess it was trying to search through
all the students on campus (over 40,000 accounts) and was
timing out.

Does anyone have a good technique they use to make a fixed width variable
to insert into a text file?
For example I have an order number, it can be 3,4,5 or 6 characters long
Lets say:
123
1234
12345
123456
...and I need to format them at 9 characters long by inserting 0's in the
beginning
I think #numberFormat(num,0)# should do the trick.

I think you can use CFTABLE/CFCOLUMN for ascii formatted tabular data.
Haven't played with that since CF 3.x/4 days, but check the docs.
