I'm not in tune with the client/server side validation discussion that was going on but I have noticed many sites taking a similar stance as Gap.com. The JS libs coming out today make it too easy to add very attractive features to a site and kind of forces a site to choose between coolness or

Some sites can get away with things like that because of the brand. Others need to worrie about user approval. Some stats while were at it because javascript ins't the only thing developer forget about. Screen Res. is another. I'm going to start calling these people the 10 %ers. No Javascript
