I hate to aggravate this issue any further.. however..
Coldfusion on our dev server returns a 404 on every cfm page that is
directly accessed(but not index pages for some reason.. Ex:
http://www.domain.com/ works fine even if the index page is a .cfm file..

Good suggestion Jochem. I know you weren't directing that comment at me,
but I don't get involved in betas for anything because All my machines are
used for live work. I have production servers in the USA and I have dev
servers here in my office in Australia that are being used for live
