How is your data structured? I'm assuming you are using Star Schemas and
stored procedures to do most data retrieval and processing.
Your CF front-end should do little if any data processing.

no idea of your app logic but i normally use summary tables that get updated
via triggers or scheduled jobs running sp depending how fresh or offensive
the summaries need to be.
