As it turns out there are no low/no-cost Flash 8 / On2 VP6 encoders,
besides ffmpeg that needs a 3rd party patch to support VP6. That leaves
three options:
* Flash 8 or 9
* On2 Flix Pro ($249) or Flix Exporter ($199)
* Sorensen Squeeze for Flash ($249) or
Don't you think $249 or $199 counts as a low cost provider? Seems quite
reasonable to me.

I'm pretty sure that the riva encoder is free still. Afterall, it's
really just a front end to the open source ffmpeg (a really slick
front end though). The other cool thing about Riva encoder is that it
will also decode an flv file into a mpg or avi. Heck, it handles
pretty much anything that
