FRAK! Same damn thing if I try to install the .net stuff to the D:\ drive I think I REALLY need to figure out how to uninstall this so it doesn't appear in the programs list anymore.. because the first time I installed CF8 I didn't do it as administrator and maybe that's got things all messed

deleted a bunch of stuff from the registry after uninstalling cf and rebooted.. then rebooted again, deleted a bit more stuff and rebooted again. So the .net stuff now no longer appears in the Uninstall programs dialog - good. I ran the CF801x64 installer again (as administrator) and once
