cflock and file access

Hi, I'm trying to remove all of the images from a directory and then remove the directory. But I keep getting an error saying the directory is not empty since the os is still deleting the files. I know I can use cflock to accomplish this but I'm not sure how. Thanks, Jay Strategy ~
