Unfortunately, googling cfdocument version 8 does not work... in
fact, if I do cfdocument +site:livedocs.adobe.com, I can't even find
the cf8 version of the doc without going to a different page first.

in Dreamweaver for CF8 and did not have to go to the livedocs

I do not know about Dreamweaver, but I prefer the no frames version too. For
older tags and functions I often use the 6.1 version. It is quicker to load and
does _not_ use frames. I have even resorted to disabling javascript
occasionally ;)

installed (free from adobe.com), CF8 help opens up in my local Reference
DW panel...
